New Home Star ...
Chicago, IL - In light of the way in which the COVID-19 pandemic has changed how millions live, work, and communicate with each other, New Home Star has pledged its commitment to the firm’s core priority: its people. New Home Star has officially launched its partnership with non-profit organization Debbie’s Closet, an institution that is close to Founder Dave Rice’s heart.
Debbie’s Closet was formed after a traumatic event sparked the Rice family’s desire to create change for the better. What started as a simple closet in the back of a church dedicated to storing and distributing basic necessities has since blossomed into a financially-backed organization capable of spreading more than just the basics. All monetary and physical donations to Debbie’s Closet go straight to those in need, typically in the form of food, shelter arrangements, clothing, beds, and even financial support.
Those affected by any hardship can contact Debbie’s Closet directly from their website (https://www.debbiescloset.org/) with specific requests. And while New Home Star is dedicated to providing a helping hand amidst the pandemic, the services of Debbie’s Closet are available to any and all employees, family members, and the public that may be struggling during this time.
