New Home Star Hosts Olympic-Inspired Summer Games Contest

By Star Report 1 min read

Chicago, IL - From July 1-31, New Home Star team members nationwide embarked on one of the organization's most intense competitions. The firm’s sales professionals were invited to compete in the 2021 Summer Games for a chance to win some incredible prizes and a gold, silver, or bronze medal. Challenges were based on three categories: Marketing, Sales, and New Home Connect™ — the company’s sales enablement platform. Agents were encouraged to create show-stopping Sales Associate Marketing Initiatives (SAMIs), achieve the highest sales and sales volume numbers, and earn the most points and survey responses on New Home Connect™.

Teams around the country hosted kick-off parties with an Olympic-themed kit full of decorations, props, attire, and more. “The Olympic spirit was alive throughout our organization this past month,” says New Home Star Founder, David Rice. “It was thrilling to see our team members come together and compete in such a fun and unique way!” To measure results, both the Sales & New Home Connect™ categories were automatically tracked using the processes built into our sales enablement platform, and the Marketing category was scored by a panel of judges on a number of factors, including originality, planning, resources, execution, and results.

Among the prizes was a coveted VIP trip to Chicago, awarded to our gold medal winner. “What a month it was to see everybody putting in their best effort as they strived to stand on the medal podium,” says New Home Star President, Tom Chisholm. “It was wonderful to see our team members cheer each other on and have such infectious energy throughout the entire contest!”
