New Home Star ...
Chicago, IL - From December 1-14, New Home Star hosted its annual company-wide holiday initiative, which resulted in the donation of over 100 toys to the Toys for Tots Program. Team members nationwide were encouraged to spread holiday cheer in three ways: by decorating model homes with seasonal style, showcasing festive flare with spirited attire, and being the reason for giving through acts of kindness. Utilizing its sales enablement platform, New Home Connect™, employees posted pictures using a specific hashtag. For each submission, the company would donate a toy to a child in need during the holiday season.
“Being able to spread cheer and live out our core value of giving in meaningful ways makes this holiday season even more special for our organization,” says Director of Marketing, Chris Laskowski. “This annual initiative wouldn’t be possible without the participation of our team members, and they wow us with their efforts each year.” Throughout the initiative, hundreds of posts were created using the catchphrase ‘Holiday Cheer,’ and many pictures were captured of team members spreading the spirit of the season.
“There’s nothing like being able to support our local community,” says Marketing Manager, Erin Henderson. “Being able to bring cheer to those in need truly makes this initiative so special.” Each year, New Home Star partners with its local fire station in Elmhurst to serve as the drop-off location for the toy donation. The organization is eager to continue supporting its local communities in even more ways come the new year.
