GEM 2025: How New Home Star Teams Made a Nationwide Impact Through Service and Giving

Chicago, IL (December 18, 2025) — As 2025 comes to a close, New Home Star is reminiscing on its Giving Every Moment (GEM) initiative in communities across the U.S. through donations, sponsorships, and volunteer efforts at non-profit organizations. Over the past 12 months, New Home Star donated $84,400 to 36 causes nationwide*. 

“Success is not just defined within the performance of our home builder partnerships,” says New Home Star Founder David Rice. “It’s reflected in the difference we create in communities, both locally and across the country.”

An esteemed core value of New Home Star is giving back in meaningful ways by donating to charities, participating in team volunteering initiatives, and sponsoring a variety of non-profits through company-wide fundraisers. As part of GEM, each sales division, as well as the company’s corporate support office, are given the autonomy to decide how their donations will impact charities and organizations that are personally significant to team members. 

Over the years, GEM has allowed New Home Star to fulfill its mission of going beyond selling new homes with its builder partners, striving to leave communities better than they were before. As 2026 approaches, New Home Star remains committed to expanding companywide charitable giving.
