Austin Green

As a Recruiting Coordinator, Austin is responsible for finding top talent for New Home Star's Southeast divisions by creating job postings, screening resumes, proactively sourcing candidates via online job platforms, managing the applicant tracking system, scheduling interviews, and interviewing candidates for open positions. 

Austin is passionate about making the workplace a healthier environment, and strives to help others find the right careers for themselves. He thrives in having a resourceful team around him in order to help drive each other's success, and makes it a mission to create a positive first impression of New Home Star for applicants and potential candidates.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePaul University, with a concentration in Human Services. He’s earned the Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) certification from HRCI and previously served as a Guidance Specialist Counselor at a widely-recognized employee assistance corporation. Outside of work, Austin is an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He also enjoys reading, gaming, and watching movies with his wife, Melanie, and two cats, Milo and Ivy.
