New Home Star MENSA ...
Chicago, IL - From June 6-8, New Home Star hosted its second offsite training event of the year for members of the firm’s Mentoring & Education New Sales Associates (MENSA) program. This three-day initiative brought together the organization’s new MENSA members, who are hand-selected for the prestigious leadership group to help aid in the mentorship and development of newly hired Sales Trainees as they complete the NHS eight-week training program in their local divisions across the country.
During the off-site event, attendees met together for the first time in person, learned about their new responsibilities in the program, and toured the company’s Corporate headquarters in Elmhurst, Illinois.
“The New Home Star MENSA program was designed to help our teams across the country have more mentorship and support from their peers as they navigate their new roles as Sales Trainees,” says Vice President of Organizational Development Keith McKinney. “Not only does the program provide support for new hires, but it also enables our current employees who want to advance in their careers to take on more responsibility and leadership opportunities. It’s a big part of our organization and helps us get one step closer to achieving our vision of becoming the best new home sales company in the world.”
This is the fifteenth class of MENSA since the organization’s inception. Following the off-site training, members of the program will continue learning through two training modules that consist of weekly virtual conference calls and real-world applications of the various topics discussed.
