Chicago, IL (June 12, 2025 ) — On June 3-5, 2025, New Home Star hosted its highly regarded Mentoring & Education New Sales Associates (MENSA) program in Chicago for a hand-selected group of talented team members. Company executives chose MENSA participants based on applications and reviews to help mentor others within their division, especially newly hired employees, as they complete the eight-week training program.
“Mentorship is a key aspect of our culture at New Home Star,” said Senior Vice President Keith McKinney. “This training program allows us to equip future sales leaders with opportunities, allowing them to continue leaving a positive impact and driving success within their teams.”
During this in-person event, attendees united to learn about their new responsibilities within the program and tour the company’s headquarters in the heart of Elmhurst, IL. The training provided these upcoming leaders with proven resources to deliver impactful feedback and effectively coach their mentees to reach their full potential.
These new members will continue the program curriculum well after the event through a series of training modules, which consist of real-world applications and weekly virtual conference calls on various leadership topics.
