A Time for Giving: Sales Team Rallies for Local Charity

The holidays remain a time for ribbons, bows, and all things that glimmer. More importantly, it remains a time for giving. This past holiday season, New Home Star emphasized the concept of giving back by creating a photo contest fueled by donation. This contest challenged Sales Teams nationwide to share holiday themed photos of their new home models for the chance to earn up to $1,000 to donate to their charity of choice.

Countless Sales Teams took part in the photo contest, but when the time came to tally up the results, FrontDoor Communities of Atlanta took the cake, and the cash for the plethora of photos they submitted. This stellar sales team chose to donate the entirety of their winnings to CHRIS 180, a local nonprofit dedicated to improving communities by providing children, adults, and families with high quality behavioral health services and support systems. To further their contribution, FrontDoor also donated with over 200 containers of laundry detergent for the organization’s ‘safe housing’ facilities. FrontDoor Communities is said to continue long term involvement with CHRIS 180 and any donation opportunities available, one being the construction of new ‘safe housing’. Not only did this contest push New Home Star’s sales teams to display their creative sides through a unique photo challenge, but it embraced the true meaning of the holiday season: giving back.
