New Home Star Hosts a Grand Slam Competition Nationwide

Chicago, IL (June 5, 2025) — New Home Star has concluded its first-ever Grand Slam sales competition. The month-long baseball-themed competition was created to kickstart the spring selling season, as agents nationwide compete to earn points through key sales activities. At the end of May, the team with the most points in their match-ups takes home the win and some rewards.

“This initiative ignited engagement among agents nationwide,“ said New Home Star Senior Vice President Keith McKinney. “By channeling their competitive spirit into driving sales activities, our teams not only drove remarkable sales growth for our builder partners but also strengthened our culture through friendly competition and rivalry, which led to noticeable sales performance gains in all divisions.”

Each agent had an entire month to gather as many points as possible to compete with teams until the final championship. Points are earned through agents setting appointments, completing training modules, hosting sales agent marketing initiatives (SAMIs), and making a sale. The winning team received a baseball-themed volunteer event and an exclusive Grand Slam t-shirt.
